Illuminate Installation

A joint project with Doppler Electric developing these "shadow poles" I was involved with Ideation and took ownership over the design, CAD, fabrication and installation. They were displayed at the Illuminate 2025 light show in the Botanic Gardens.

The image was projected through a cylindrical shape to a single point in CAD to form the geometry to be laser cut. Placing a bright halogen bulb back at this point in physical reality projects the image onto a large outdoor area. These poles were a very cost effective way to create a large visual effect outdoors.
